Asterix

Vitalstatistix is the chief of the Gaulish village in the Asterix comic book series. He is known for his immense size and strength, which he attributes to being immersed in a magic potion which he drinks every morning. He is carried around on a shield by two shield-bearers, due to his weight and the difficulty of walking.

While generally benevolent and concerned for the well-being of his villagers, Vitalstatistix is also prone to pride and occasional stubbornness. He often seeks to prove his village's superiority to the Romans and neighboring tribes. This sometimes involves accepting challenges or initiating conflicts.

He is married to Impedimenta, who often provides a grounded perspective and acts as a voice of reason. His main weakness is his fear of the sky falling on his head, a fear stemming from an incident in his youth. Despite his flaws, Vitalstatistix is respected by his community and considered a capable leader.
